About me
An overview of how I work, what informs my approach, and what you can expect from therapy.
My way of working
I am a psychotherapist working with adults experiencing anxiety, low mood, health‑related fears, trauma, grief, addiction histories, relationship difficulties, and long‑standing patterns that feel hard to shift.
My work is grounded in contemporary, evidence‑informed psychotherapy and shaped by an understanding of how emotional, relational, and physiological processes interact. I pay close attention to how distress is expressed not only in thoughts, but also in the body and in patterns of relating.
Therapy is a collaborative and careful process. It is not about being fixed or corrected, but about developing understanding, awareness, and the capacity for change at a pace that feels sustainable.
What sessions are like
Sessions offer a calm, consistent, and confidential space. There is no expectation to arrive with the right words or a clear agenda. We begin wherever you are.
I place strong emphasis on boundaries, reliability, and emotional safety. Over time, the therapeutic relationship itself becomes a stable foundation from which deeper work can take place.
Sessions are typically weekly and can be offered online or in person, depending on your needs.
